Eco-Chic Fashion Shows Off Stylish Sustainability

GENEVA (Reuters Life!) – Models wearing alpaca fiber, bamboo and organic silk and cotton strutted down an “Eco-chic” catwalk to back a United Nations call for the sustainable use of natural resources.

This January, Geneva will become the heart of watchmaking for a moment by hosting a new watch fair along well-established fairs, the SIHH and WPHH.
Independent watchmakers gathered to create the Geneva Time exhibition, a new watch fair which will be held next January.

For Christmas, Alexis Mabille Will Make You Eat Your Purse

French Fashion Designer Alexis Mabille has teamed up with renowned Parisian « pâtisserie » Angelina to design a non-conventional Christmas cake.

After having successfully collaborated with Ladurée on its iconic macarons, Alexis Mabille is once again exploring French patisserie « classics », working with Angelina’s pastry chef Sébastien Bauer on the traditional Yule log.
The result is a glamorous chocolate Chanel-like quilted purse cake with edible buttons, accessorized with a silver bow tie, Mabille’s hallmark.
Unfortunately, only a few of us will be able to enjoy this culinary piece of art.
