Ungaro’s owner Asim Abdullah is looking for a new talent since Estrella Archs, the Spanish designer who joined the French House last year, is leaving her position as Head of Design to concentrate on her own label she created in 2007.
Since Emanuel Ungaro sold his brand in 2005, the fashion house has experienced difficulties in finding the right designer. Entrepreneur Asim Abdullah and president of the company, Mounir Moufarrige, tried their best to replace the legendary designer and also to give great visibility to the aging brand.

French Fashion Designer Alexis Mabille has teamed up with renowned Parisian « pâtisserie » Angelina to design a non-conventional Christmas cake.
After having successfully collaborated with Ladurée on its iconic macarons, Alexis Mabille is once again exploring French patisserie « classics », working with Angelina’s pastry chef Sébastien Bauer on the traditional Yule log.
The result is a glamorous chocolate Chanel-like quilted purse cake with edible buttons, accessorized with a silver bow tie, Mabille’s hallmark.
Unfortunately, only a few of us will be able to enjoy this culinary piece of art.
