A New Watch Fair is Coming To Geneva, The Geneva Time Exhibition

12 January 2010

This January, Geneva will become the heart of watchmaking for a moment by hosting a new watch fair along well-established fairs, the SIHH and WPHH.

Independent watchmakers gathered to create the Geneva Time exhibition, a new watch fair which will be held next January.

The dates coincide with two other professional watch & jewelry fairs each one organized by the biggest players in Haute-Horlogerie; the Richemont group’ SIHH (Salon International de la Haute-Horlogerie) and the Franck Muller group’s WPHH (World presentation of Haute Horlogerie).

For the first time these protagonists came together in an effort to keep the watchmaking world alive in these hard times that the industry has been experiencing for a over a year.

As a result, 35 brands in total will show their newest timepieces.

Exhibitors
The fair and its participants want to put a special emphasis on creativity. So among exhibitors are many well-known brands (Antoine Preziuso, Badollet, Louis Moinet), young brands (SwissKubik, Linde Werdelin, Ladoire Genève), restless watchmakers (Alain Silberstein), futuristic or contemporary oriented design (HD3 Complication, Cabestan) and even newcomers (BRM, )…
