Described as a different breeze through the current model land, Camden Girl Lily Donaldson is simply breathtakingly beautiful. The British super model has a classical look, which marks her out from many of her slightly strange looking colleague models, and is capable to not only wear but as well as transforming clothes. Vogue announced Lily Donaldson as one of the “World’s Next Top Models” in their May 2007 issue and is described her as the “smartest and most sophisticated of the bunch”.

Discovered by a model scout from Select Modeling Agency while walking around at the Camden Market Lily’s career was launched in 2003 with her appearing in a fashion story for W magazine by David Sims. She proceeded by appearing in the Miss Sixty spring campaign of ‘04 and became the face of the Burberry ‘04 fall campaign with Karen Elson and Stella Tennant. With her début on the runway during the Paris ‘04 fall collections shows in February for Rochas and Jil Sander and her appearance on the cover of the British Vogue in April 2004 officially meant instant model stardom for the shy teenager from the liberal, arty north London.

In 2005 Lily was nominated for Best Model at the British Fashion Awards and by May 2007 she became invincible by appearing on the cover of US Vogue May ‘07 issue. Vogue heralded her in this issue as one of the young ladies of the new generation of supermodels. During the years Lily Donaldson has been photographed by every single important fashion photographer including Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier and Graig McDean and she is a runway fixture at all the top shows including Lanvin, Versace, Marc Jacobs, Jean Paul Gaultier, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Chanel, Hermes, John Galliano, Sonia Rykiel, Stella McCartney, Yves Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld, Balenciaga, Emilio Pucci and Dolce & Gabbana.
